Sooo I was stuck in my room for about two days trying to review and compress all the information in my head for the upcoming civil service exam. To take a short breather and to celebrate my uncle’s birthday, we decided to have our family dinner at Haraya.
The place. Haraya’s interior can be soothing to the soul. Being a self-proclaimed artist (chos!), I really enjoy looking at the different artworks by local artists that are showcased on the wall. Haraya is also an open door for art exhibits making it a sanctuary for local artists.

Aside from the cozy interior, the background music also contributed to the chic and elegant ambiance of Haraya.
The food. Haraya offers Spanish-Italian cuisine on their menu. I always order paella and haven’t personally tried some of their dishes so it’s unfair to give a 5-star rating yet. But if I were to give a rate based on those I’ve tried, I definitely will give 6 stars without a doubt!
The perfect wine, to partner with your meal, is also available either by the bottle or by glass.
While I am extremely satisfied with the main course, I think I’ll have to give a 3-star rating to the dessert. Having a sweet tooth, I find the strawberry sherbet a bit under-sweetened. Maybe we should have ordered the chocolate flavor? Hmmm~
For the crepe, it would have been better if the mango was ripe. Nonetheless, it was good.
The service. I have to commend the patience of the staff for accommodating two “irate” senior citizens with a smile. Haha! The staff are also knowledgeable of wine and gave us recommendations. We ended up having Val de France Organic Sparkling Juice tho~
The great food, quality service, expressive art pieces, and the overall ambiance make Haraya a masterpiece itself. It is definitely one of my top places to eat here in Elbi.
